Customer Service Representative

Location: Kent, WA

As the Customer Service Representative for this fast growing company you will be primarily responsible for a variety of tasks to support sales and accounting.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and directing calls to the relevant people
  • Handling customer inquiries and all aspects of customer service
  • Processing of customer orders via fax, email, web, and telephone
  • Pick orders and assist warehouse staff with inventory monitoring
  • Provide administrative support to management, sales, and purchasing staff
  • Maintaining and updating company sales database
  • Running routine sales and purchasing reports

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist with packaging and shipping as needed
  • Providing timely follow-up to customer quotes and purchases
  • Generating customer quotes
  • Providing technical support to customers
  • Occasional travel for industry events and one-one customer visits, less than 10 percent of time

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an office setting
  • Proof reading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment 
  • Self-starter and manage time wisely 
  • Organizing and Planning
  • Multi-task, team orientated, attention to detail
  • Bachelor degree in Science or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Work Environment:

  • Exposed to a combination of office and shop environments.
  • Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
